Information about the incident

We would like to inform you that BTH Import Stal Sp. z o.o., located in Podłęże, was the target of a cyberattack on May 8, 2025.

Immediately after identifying the incident, the Company undertook remedial actions aimed at eliminating its consequences, implementing additional security measures, and reported the breach to the relevant authorities, including the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

We inform you that the Company has immediately taken action to secure its network, systems, and customer data. We are cooperating with specialized cybersecurity teams and appropriate services to thoroughly investigate the circumstances of the incident, minimize potential risks, and restore full functionality of IT systems. Analyses are also underway to assess the scope of the breach.

At this stage, we cannot definitively rule out the possibility that the incident impacted processed data. Should any breach be confirmed, we will promptly inform the relevant parties.

Warning: there is a risk that third parties may attempt to impersonate BTH Import Stal and send fraudulent emails, such as fake invoices, payment requests, or other documents. If you receive any suspicious correspondence, we kindly ask you to exercise caution and refrain from taking any action before contacting our team to confirm the authenticity of the message.
